Returning to Normalcy with Humanitarian Aid in the Earthquake Zone
Ustinov Foundation project
About the project
Goal
Earthquake Relief for Children
- The Sir Peter Ustinov Foundation, in collaboration with the TOÇEV Foundation (Tuvana Foundation for the Education of Children), supports 30 children aged seven to sixteen in the provinces of Adiyaman, Kahramanmaras, Hatay, and Gaziantep, which were most affected by the earthquake.
- The package covers basic needs, including education, trauma therapy, and medical care.
Project
Therapeutic Support for Children
- In collaboration with expert teams, tents and containers have been set up in the affected areas. These serve as spaces for activities aimed at relaxation, recovery, and emotional well-being.
- Psychologists provide intensive care for the children, helping them process their trauma.
- Every step in this process is carefully monitored to meet the needs of each child. Feedback from the children is used to improve the standards.
- Through interactive activities, children learn to protect and enhance their freedom and independence.
